      At joyfulPAK, sustainability is top of mind as we're running our small business. A question we are often asked is, "Are your poly mailers recyclable?"  The answer is, yes! 

      Although our mailers are completely recyclable, there is some extra effort needed in order recycle them properly. Poly mailers and other plastic bags, in general, cannot be recycled in curb-side bins, as local recycling facilities are usually not equipped to handle film and plastic bag recycling.

      What is carbon neutral?

      Increased carbon dioxide (and equivalent)—CO2e—levels are a significant and harmful contributor to climate change. Being carbon neutral means that the net release of CO2e into the atmosphere is zero.

      What this means is that whatever CO2e that is emitted is canceled out by a process known as 'offsetting'—that is, supporting projects that reduce emissions, like regenerating precious forest, replacing old equipment with more efficient technology, or even training communities in beekeeping!
